Pool Party
My parents are building a swimming pool in their back yard and yesterday was the big day where they sprayed gunnite over all the rebar. Gunnite is like concrete, but it gets sprayed on and has to be done all at once because you can't let it dry in between applications. The crew showed up with over 10 trucks of gunite at about 7 in the morning and didn't leave 'til about 10 pm. My dad had to go buy lights at Home Depot so they could see in the dark. Sara, Caroline, Henry and I had fun today in Wimberley doing a little last minute Christmas shopping. Then, tonight, Jody and I got to go to dinner by ourselves! We went to the lovely Trattoria Lisina which is in Driftwood, TX. It's owned by Tony Mandola and you can look out and see their vineyards from the restaurant. Here are a few swimming pool pics.
