It's All Happening at the Zoo

Henry had his first trip to the zoo today. He really liked checking out all the fish swimming by in the aquarium, but his favorite was riding the carousel. He was so excited when we started going up and down and round and round. Emma took pics so I'll have to post them once I get them. Somehow we missed the monkeys so we've got to go back soon to check them out. It doesn't feel like a real trip to the zoo without seeing monkeys. Henry stayed in his stroller for a little while, but of course he eventually had to get out and help push. This is what he does in the grocery store, too, with the cart which is why I try not to take him too often.
On Wednesday we went to watch Jody play softball with his coworkers. He is not the athletic type, but he did really well! His team was definitely the underdog (some of the guys on the other side play on a league team!), but they were ahead until the very last inning! Too bad they didn't win, but everyone was impressed with how well they did.
