Bluebonnets

This morning my parents and Henry and I drove out to the Chappell Hill area to take bluebonnet pictures. The bluebonnet fields are amazing! There are several huge fields just right there along the highway so we pulled off at a few of them, plopped Henry down, and started snapping. It was really bright out so Henry was a bit squinty-eyed, but my dad ended up getting some good shots. We went to lunch at the Chappell Hill Cafe where we randomly ran into one of my mom's friends from high school! He was in the area for the big Round Top antique festival.
